The Nursing Program - One of the Best!
The nursing curriculum at Cathedral College is characterized by rigorous instruction backed by a strong clinical focus. Nursing students take courses in the sciences, anthropology, gerontology, psychology, ethics, statistics, research, and health science from a faculty who combine academic expertise with real world experience. All students in the health studies program take combined classes in order to foster interdisciplinary learning of health care issues.
CC nursing graduates hold R.N. and B.S. degrees and are employed throughout the United States. They have been successful in a range of settings, including acute care, community agencies, home care, and schools. Many choose to continue their education in graduate school.
Athletics - Catch the Excitement
From track to tennis, athletics play a significant role in the lives of many CC students. Men and women have equal opportunity to contribute to a program that fosters personal development, sportsmanship, and fair play. Over 75 percent of the student body participate in a varsity, intramural, club, recreational, or individual sport.
Our outstanding athletic facilities and stimulating outdoor environment help students develop all of their physical talents. CC boasts a 6,000 square foot fitness center, an eight-lane, all-weather track, a swimming and diving complex, and a recreation center for the College's intramural program. Whether you are a serious athlete or a reluctant jogger, there is something for everyone.

Our students use their time out of class to do more of what they do best. Extracurricular opportunities at CC are virtually boundless and don't require unusual talent or expertise. More than 75 clubs and organizations reflect cultural, academic, and creative interests, with new groups forming each semester. At Cathedral College, you can choose from outside activities in entertainment and the arts, media and journalism, public service and student government, and much more.
In addition, at CC you will find art studios, a print workshop, darkrooms, and workshops in photography, sculpture, filmmaking, and more. Our Finn Art Gallery houses some of the finest works available and regularly mounts critically acclaimed exhibitions.
